Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions. In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

Contact with us

If you contact us by email or using the contact form, the data you provide will be stored for a maximum of six months in order to process the request and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Newsletter notices and consents

The following information explains the contents of our newsletter as well as the registration, dispatch and statistical evaluation procedures and your rights of objection. By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to receive it and to the procedures described.

Newsletter content

We send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications with promotional information (hereinafter “newsletter”) only with the consent of the recipients or a legal permission. Insofar as the contents of the newsletter are specifically described in the course of registration, they are decisive for the consent of the user. Our newsletters contain information and offers about real estate and properties.

Double opt-in and logging

The registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in process. That is, after registering via the website, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can log in with foreign e-mail addresses.

Subscriptions to the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the subscription process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes the storage of the login and confirmation time, as well as the IP address. Likewise, changes to your data stored with MailChimp are logged.

Use of the newsletter service provider "MailChimp

The newsletter is sent using “MailChimp”, a newsletter sending platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

The e-mail addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in the context of these notes, are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. Furthermore, MailChimp may, according to its own information, use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and the presentation of the newsletters or for economic purposes to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass them on to third parties.

We trust in the reliability and IT and data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement “Privacy Shield” and thus undertakes to comply with EU data protection regulations.

Login data

To register for the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide your email address. Optionally, we ask you to provide your first and last name. This information is only used to personalize the newsletter.

Statistical survey and analyses

The newsletters contain a so-called “web beacon”, i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the MailChimp server when the newsletter is opened. In the course of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and the time of the retrieval are collected. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behavior based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or the access times.

Statistical surveys also include determining whether newsletters are opened, when they are opened, and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our nor MailChimp’s intention to monitor individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users.

Online call and data management

There are cases in which we direct the newsletter recipients to the MailChimp websites. For example, our newsletters contain a link with which the newsletter recipients can access the newsletter online (e.g. if there are display problems in the e-mail program). Furthermore, newsletter recipients can subsequently correct their data, such as the e-mail address. Likewise, MailChimp’s privacy policy is only available on their site.

In this context, we pointed out that cookies are used on the websites of MailChimp and thus personal data is processed by MailChimp, its partners and service providers used (e.g. Google Analytics). We have no influence on this data collection. For more information, refer to the privacy policy of MailChimp. We also point out the possibility of objection to the data collection for advertising purposes on the websites http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ and http://www.youronlinechoices.com/ (for the European area).

Cancellation/Revocation

You can cancel the receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke your consents. At the same time, your consent to its dispatch via MailChimp and the statistical analyses will expire. A separate revocation of the dispatch via MailChimp or the statistical evaluation is unfortunately not possible.

You will find a link to cancel the newsletter at the end of each newsletter.

Legal basis Data Protection Regulation

In accordance with the requirements of the Basic Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) applicable as of May 25, 2018, we inform you that the consents to the sending of e-mail addresses are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, 7 DSGVO as well as § 7 para. 2 No. 3, resp. para. 3 UWG takes place. The use of the shipping service provider MailChimp, implementation of statistical surveys and analyzes as well as logging of the registration process, are based on our legitimate interests in accordance with. Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We are interested in providing a user-friendly and secure newsletter system that serves our business interests and meets the expectations of our users.

We would also like to point out that you agree to the future processing of your personal data in accordance with the legal requirements pursuant to Sec. Art. 21 DSGVO at any time. The objection can be made in particular against the processing for purposes of direct advertising.
